There was a good article by an ex-NPR journalist who asserted that all 87 of the top NPR executives in DC are Democrats and that they suppressed any positive news for Trump during both elections. The difference with the rest of the media is that NPR is funded by us through taxpayer dollars. This should be the first recipient whose funding is zeroed out after Trump takes office, and hopefully he does.

Trump is not allowed to zero out money from the budget. That went to the SC and the president can only veto the whole budget, bill, continuing resolution...whatever it is.

A few republicans have been trying since the 1980s to eliminate NPRs subsidy...it’s just a small part of their budget, but still, it should be zero.

The subsidy always survives for one reason or another.
