I’m starting to think everyone knew this attack was coming and when it was coming.
After the US killed or bombed some Iranian officials, some former intel guy said on a news program that the US contacted Iran with a save face plan and offered Iran an abandoned US military no longer being used to bomb and show the world that they retaliated against America.
