Get that woman a box of personal defense ammunition in her caliber, a few hundred rounds of practice ammo and a few hours of range time, plus a certificate of civic responsibility. SOCIALLY NORMALIZE this activity.
Don’t let ANYone convince her she was “judge and jury” (the perp decided his own fate) but reinforce the idea both for her AND our community of civilized human beings that the right to keep and bear arms for self -defense is a civil, natural, Constitutional, God-given HUMAN right and there is no shame in it.

She obviously already knows how to aim and shoot and she's a proven fighter when she didn't freeze up. A lot of people do freeze up in that situation.
