Tokyo Rove would approve of it.

I should update it so it could be more pathetic.

Although I do not mind saying this.

The thing that seems to make people mad is my support for Bush.

I always like to say to critics on that point:

1. You support Saddam Hussein— come on— admit it — you really miss that great dictator of a man.

2. You support Al Gore— he would have been such a great president— admit it

3. You support John Kerry— he would have been great as president

Politics is always a contemporaneous consideration. I think one of the biggest disasters in Republican/ Conservative thought is the manner by which our intellectual culture has convinced Americans to repudiate every iteration of Republicans.

I am a strong supporter of President Trump. I think his policies were excellent and I look forward to voting for him in 2024. I also realize that he does not like President Bush. I also realize that as recently as 2014, Trump wanted Hillary Clinton to be President.

I think it is ridiculous the way people make absolute pronouncements about the souls of political figures. It is silly.

I voted in various elections for the practical necessary outcome for the nation. I am unashamed of my past choices.

I think it is perfectly acceptable to counter the criticism of others by pointing out the obvious alternatives to individuals such as Bush.

A practical example of this is that while Trump thinks Iraq was the worst foreign policy mistake in US history, I think one of the best things Trump did was kill Solemani on the tarmac at Baghdad airport. He killed an Iranian general in Iraq. That is not unlike Bush’s military aggression in Iraq.

Additionally, I think Trump flipping the soft on Russia policy (Obama/ Biden) for Ukraine by giving Ukraine lethal aid was a brilliant move. But it problematizes the reactionaries here at FR who pretend that any support of Ukraine is traitorous. I also think the killing of hundreds of Russian soldiers by Trump throughout the world is a great action even though Trump is ostensibly anti-war. Trump has a great sense of military deterrence.
