Hi Mark, I follow your posts. Refresh my memory, por favor...what is a CGO?

Is your son still on active duty?

I loved my time on Hahn (77-78) and Spangdahlem (79-81). Our battery was tasked with short range air defense at Hahn, while Spangdahlem had another battery and Battalion HQ. The Officers Club was a two minute walk from our HQ...awesome.

CGO=Company Grade Officer. Yes, he is still on active duty. I was never satisfied with the way we were treated, and with all the wokeness today, I never encouraged him to go in. All I said, was if he chose to go in, to only choose USAF, and don’t EVER even think about doing enlisted time. He didn’t. He wanted to be a USAF pilot. Now, he is flying from Japan.

I was in Wiesbaden, from 80 to 84, but I went TDY to most USAF bases in Germany, England, and the Middle East.
