It was a tiny bit warmer, but still chilly enough that I wore cords and a heavy sweater to church. Since we’ve had some warm days already, my mind and body had gotten used to it, so 59 late this afternoon felt cooler than was comfortable. The kitties seemed ok with it though.
Strawberry winter. Before you had mentioned it, I had never heard of such a thing. I guess you have to be able to grow strawberries to talk about it. LOL! If there is a cactus winter, we got it! 🤣 Hope it passes pretty quickly there!
It sounds like we had pretty much the same weather today. I saw 58 degrees on the thermometer this afternoon. The numbers were inverted Thursday. They say we’ll drop into the mid 30s overnight. BRRR We’ll slowly warm up again through the week and be back around 80 next weekend.
We have several “little winters” before Spring finally shoves Old Man Winter off for good. He just doesn’t want to let go. LOL
My poor plants in the garage are ready to go back outside but I don’t dare do it until I know the nights will stay warm enough. I’m not hauling them back and forth.
