A Wheeling native and graduate of The Linsly School, Elliott is a 1994 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and a 2001 graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center. Elliott returned to Wheeling in 2009 after a career with Baker Botts LLP, an international law firm based in Washington, D.C.
Prior to being elected mayor, Elliott was active in economic development and downtown Wheeling revitalization projects, including Market Street Now LLC and efforts at renovating historic structures. Besides his work as an attorney, Elliott was also active in real estate and commercial/residential property management.

National Democrats are likely to not even spend a dime trying to save this totally lost cause of a Senate seat. I understand that Joe has a ton of money in the bank though, but talk is a lot cheaper. And in this case, absolutely worthless.
