In the 1980s Austin was the greatest little city in the United States. It prided itself on being weird but it was still a safe but sane city with a slightly left of center population. It was and is a party town.
The University of Texas has destroyed the Austin of old. UT is a left wing ideological propaganda center and its ideals have poisoned Austin. Today Austin is "Berkley on the Colorada." Austin is lost.
