Hey there, radu!
Yes, it was definitely an AC day. Ugh. It got up to 88 here today. Noooooo!
How hot did it get there? Of course, you had pollen to deal with, which could only make it worse.
I hope this is the year that bush is history!
Nice to have a path to it at long last, isn’t it?
I know you’re ready to get the garage door working again. I hoped the repair guy would get there before you had to head out for your appointments tomorrow.
Poor ducky fellers. Didn’t luck up with mates this year. At least they get good meals each day while all the others are off starting new families. Easy meals count for something. LOL
Ouch! Too hot!
It got up to 75 here but it felt hotter. And with no trees close to the house to shade it, it got hot in here this afternoon - - almost up to 80. Time for da AC!
I’ll need heat tonight because it’ll dip into the 40s. This SHOULD be the last nippy night. *fingers crossed*
You can still ask her next time you talk to her.
I did, glad you did too tho. Sometime life just weighs us down. Too much to do and not enough time to do it. Our brains get overloaded. We were never supposed to be like this. I pray our lives can slow down a bit.
Repair man just texted...10 minutes out.
75 sounds heavenly right now. We’re supposed to cool off a bit after tomorrow, but only into the low 80s. I think summer, she is a’comin’!
YAY!!! Just in the nick of time. :-)
We have one more day of 70s, then warm up to low 80s for a while. The wind is supposed to pick up again tomorrow and from what I’ve heard, it’ll be a rip-roarin’ weekend.
I hope that wind is no where near our agenda for the weekend. We’ve had enough of it for a while. I think it’s just going to be warm, warm, warm...rinse and repeat.
Garage door is back in tiptop shape...some minor adjustments, some metal work to the really OLD, and really loud, tracks, and working great now. Next year will be new rollers.
They revised the wind forecast. Whew! Last night, they said gusts of 30 to 40 mph but now it’s nowhere near that. Still going to be breezy but not all that bad.
That was quick! Glad it’s working again. Your back is, I’m sure. LOL
Mine was doing fairly well today but that just got ruined. The water filter at the well house needed changing but I kept putting it off because mowing had my back cranky. Just got back from changing it and I’m not doing anything else tonight!
Wow! The sun’s low enough now up there that as the cam panned, the sun glinted off of a few spots of OPEN WATER in the middle of Lake Hood.
Oh, that’s a relief! Breezy is one thing, but bordering on gale-strength is quite another! LOL!
No kidding! I know we have fronts coming through, one after another, and thought it was going to be a rough weekend.
They could still change it back. Wouldn’t be the first time.
It’s a bit breezy out here tonight, too, but it feels good. It’s just enough to feel cool but not to blow your hair off your head. I’d sit outside, but....nah.
Yesterday at Wichita Ridge:
How's everyone doing this morning?
The breeze we had today died down after it got dark. It’s perfectly still and a great night to burn the one pile of tree trash that’s been waiting to turn to ash. But after changing the water filter, that idea went out the window. The way Hubby set things up in the well house, you have to get in an awkward position to get the casing off and it gets my back every time.
Too bad because it’s perfect for burning tonight. Cool but comfortable.
You should have sat outside for a little while at least. Time’s running out for comfy evenings without skeeters. :-)
