Trump Says He Will Stop Calling Bill Barr ‘Lethargic’ After His ‘Wholehearted Endorsement’
Breitbart ^ | 04.25.2024 | KRISTINA WONG

Former President Donald Trump said sarcastically he will remove “lethargic” for the list of insults of former Attorney General Bill Barr, after his “wholehearted endorsement.”

Trump posted on Truth Social late Wednesday:

Wow! Former A.G. Bill Barr, who let a lot of great people down by not investigating Voter Fraud in our Country, has just Endorsed me for President despite the fact that I called him “Weak, Slow Moving, Lethargic, Gutless, and Lazy” (New York Post!). Based on the fact that I greatly appreciate his wholehearted Endorsement, I am removing the word “Lethargic” from my statement. Thank you Bill. MAGA2024!

I thought Trump’s post about Barr was just about one of the most hilarious he has every made. Talk about damning with faint praise!

Also that “horrible people” were his only choices.

That is an extremely weak excuse that hold zero water.

Trump was not restricted in any way. He brought plenty of people from the outside that got confirmed, so your pitiful defense is null.

Funny, but we need to get the never trumpers and the Rinos on board. This does not help.

Name a better one in the last century? Reagan, Eisenhower, Coolidge to name 3.

YES. Classic Trump – I laughed out loud.

I'm delighted that he continues to ignore the utterly useless stick-in-the-mud sourpuss scolds who since 2015 have insisted that Trump is "doing it all wrong," while he leads the race for the presidency. Again.

Back in 1992, the last time Bill Barr was U.S. attorney general, iconic
New York Times columnist William Safire referred to him as "Cover-up General Barr" because of his role in burying evidence of then-President George H. W. Bush's involvement in "Iraqgate" and "Iran-Contra".

Definitely agree on Reagan—

Coolidge and Ike might be slightly more debatable. Ike was a largely non-partisan person in a time that was much less partisan.

Both Ike and Coolidge inherited something much less of a disaster than the later two.

Truman and JFK had their points, but JFK isn’t in a position to think of cracking the top 3.

That said, Trump is a man for his time. Reagan may have been too much a gentleman to thrive in the present environment.

Take the time to do some research. I’ve been on FR for nearly 24 years and have been part of many useful discussions. What was once a place for thoughtful discourse has become a cruder, less intellectual place because of people like you.

Your 24 year at FR ‘creds’ bs doesn’t mean Schiff as it hasn’t enlightened you in the least.

Since we don’t seem to have better options, Trump’s supporters will overlook his larding up of his admin with Deep Staters once again, still somehow convinced that it all must just be innocent error upon innocent error.

all must just be innocent error upon innocent error?

Not even close. He was betrayed from the get-go, lied to, conspired against, and deceived.

With the level of conspiracy against him by the Deep State, including many RINOs like Bill Barr an Paul Ryan, it is a miracle he was able to accomplish the incredible feats he did.
