Even the most vile person deserves a fair trial. A trial based on facts not character assassination.
I agree. But what made it a joke, IMHO, was how it exposed the widely disparate treatment of Weinstein vs. Trump. Particularly on the E.Jean Carroll case, which was absolutely ridiculous.
