My husband’s whole family are Catholics, and Democrats (NJ) and believe someone should have the right to choose.
In fact NY, NJ is like that with the Catholics, all Dems, all believe that way and vote for Dems.
Add Eastern PA to that. A lot of stupid, hypocritical relatives there just like what you described. Thank God my grandfather left the Philly burbs in the ‘30’s and got away from them. I think some of them are inbreds.
My family is like that as well. I try to persuade them by asking if they are pro partial birth abortion, tax payer funded abortion and selling baby parts for profit but it does not sink in.
