They lie, as usual. Both Obama and Biden have done as much as they can to destroy the coal industry. They simply don't care about the people who mine the coal. In fact, they barely consider them as people at all, not to mention the people who use coal power for their many electrical needs.
Coal is dying (because it's dirty to burn), but it should be allowed a slow and natural death. Capitalism works if allowed.
Stack scrubbers have made burning coal a very clean process.
