I would suggest parents pummel anyone who tries to enforce this policy. Quickly and with malice, shut it down. Don’t look back.
The Biden administration ought to literally be taken to the woodshed for this act of stupidity. If caning was lawful in this country, that could/should be used on those who would advocate this. I have heard of many stupid acts, but this just about tops them all. What possible excuse can there be for allowing this?
