Thousands of protesters marched through Hamburg over the weekend calling for an Islamic state in Germany and clutching signs that declared, “Caliphate is the solution.”
Videos of the Saturday rally showed demonstrators chanting “Allahu akbar,” or “God is great,” and carrying copies of the local tabloid newspaper, Bild, with stories about Islam that had been smeared with red paint. The demonstration was organized by the controversial group Muslim Interaktiv, which is currently being investigated by Hamburg’s domestic intelligence for “extremism,” according to The Telegraph.
The group’s leader, Joe Adade Boateng, declared Germany needed a “righteous caliphate” to rectify the misrepresentation Muslim groups have faced in the media.

I did my small part in 1980. I was in my 4th year in Germany, lived in a small town called Traben-Trarbach. My neighbors were pleading with me to vote for Jimmy Carter, they were sure Reagan would start WWIII.
In the weeks leading up to the election, I engaged my neighbors at the local gasthaus, explaining why Reagan had my vote. My rationale centered around "the world is a safer place when America is strong, and Reagan would provide the leadership we needed." Our discussions were held entirely in German. My last two years in Germany were so enjoyable, as I had achieved near fluency. It came natural, having lived off base for over 3 years.
I dined at the gasthaus a couple of days after Inauguration Day, when the hostages were released. For the remaining six months of my tour, I had a standing reservation to sit at the Stammtisch, a table reserved for family and close friends of the family. I cherish that honor to this day.

We never got to sit at the Stammtisch, at the Sonnen Eck in Mainz Kastel, but as much money as we spent there, you would think we should have. .

They didn't learn their lesson after WWI. Hitler told them they were unfairly mistreated for starting WWI, so they started WWII, and lose that one as well. It took them almost 100 years to pay off their WWI reparations. For 70+ years they remained reliant on Russian energy sources to run their country, then scrambled for new energy sources when sanctions were put on Russia. They allow Isamofascists to overwhelm their country, and the German government has retreated from a plan to legally commit itself to meeting NATO's 2% military spending target on an annual basis. That country, and the people in it are f-ing retarded.
