I beg to differ. This WHO "treaty" is a public health issue. Since the Constitution doesn't give the federal govt the authority on matters of public health, that decision is left to the states. Even calling it a "treaty" (a buzzword which would normally mean it's the purview of the President and Senate to make and ratify a treaty) doesn't change that because this is not a treaty. These are public health regulations therefore the federal govt has no authority on them. This is a state issue.
we as a sovereign nation are not to be governed by foreign authorities- once you allow that- we are no longer sovereign- once a state gives way their sovereignty then the breakdown of national sovereignty has begun- I said no way a state should do that by joining- I didn’t say they couldn’t do it but that no way should they do so
