Yeah watching the coverage maybe my mind is changing. These do seem to be pro-Israeli counter-protests, or at least started out that way. Now a bunch of people there standing by - maybe in support but not actively engaged in confrontation.

Someone did mention tonight was the end of the Jewish holiday Passover, commemorating the Israelites freedom from Egyptian bondage, when Moses led his people to the holy land.

I see a hodgepodge of activity. Some American flags. Saw a rainbow colored version of the of thr Palestinian flag. Looks like some of the counter protesters are trying to use the barricades to set up their own encampment. They have a point. If the university and city are going to allow pro Hamas encampment they can’t rightly prevent an opposing encampment. They counter protesters are setting up their own perimeter.

I don’t like the reporters calling them agitators. Maybe some are but there are agitators in both groups. No cops yet.

The Hamas folks are beginning to leave. The Pro-Israelis are doing the job the cops should be doing. I bet the camp will be dissolved within the hours, but who knows. Lots of ex- cops on Fox News that are pissed that no cops aren’t there.
