I think Kevin McCarthy & now Mike Johnson have been the real problem with this bunch who have held hearings, but have not proceeded further. Keep in mind that it's the Speaker that makes the decisions as to what does or doesn't come to the floor. Let's see what they do. If they are not issuing subpoenas by Friday, I may have to agree with you.

But I had commented on an earlier post that I question if this guy is for real or is he just building himself up as being something he really isn't, because I have my doubts. He seemed to be full of it, trying to impress what he believed was a date, as far as, I saw this conversation to be one that might be held on a date. It may have even worked before. Some women just adore powerful men for the perks they make available.
