In any event people have a right to control animals and to control livestock especially in farm areas.

They do have that right.

They also have a right to publish books about killing a young pup and then attempting to use the book to convince a national audience to elect them to a higher office.

The problem is: that usually doesn’t work.

Exactly....At 14 months a dog is an ADULT dog, not a puppy.

That’s what I recall. Although larger dogs aren’t considered fully mature until 24 months, puppy is hardly the word I’d use. It was just a young dog, and, sadly, it sounded like a risky one.

I’ve been present at the euthanizing of two of my dogs. One went well, the other one didn’t. The injections aren’t always kind.
