A West Virginia judge has reversed a school district’s ban on the five girls who protested against being forced to compete against a transgender player in their high school track & field events.
Last month, five girls protested against being forced to compete against transgender students by stepping into their shot put ring but then stepping right out again, thereby forfeiting their events.
5 middle school female athletes in West Virginia on Thursday refused to throw shot put against male Becky Pepper-Jackson.
They “stepped in” then “stepped out” in protest.

If the ruling stands (as it should), we might have a Rosa Parks type event here. These girls stood up for their rights, and won. Now more girls might be inspired to do the same.

Balderdash. While there apparently was a rule about being scratched from the next track meet when scratching from a current meet, a single event ban doesn't come close to a total ban... which is the punishment they received.
I'd go further too: they didn't "scratch" due to injury or any other reason... they showed up and were ready to compete, then forfeited. I don't know the exact wording of their rules, but that doesn't sound like the same thing that would have triggered even a single event banning. I believe they were singled-out for a hash punishment to send a message. The judge only got it half right.
Once upon a time I would have said “who didn’t see this coming.”
Now I’m surprised, and thankful.
I’m also thankful the girls weren’t arrested for “causing an insurrection.”

Having seen this movie many times in the past, it is likely that that is exactly what will happen- I hope I’m proven wrong- But the left are really steamrolling over the right because the left hold all the power, or control it- ie far left biased higher courts to undo what lower courts decide- The left are now even ignoring the SC whenever the decisions don’t favor the leftist agenda, and there seems to be nothing the right can do about slapping them back via charges- and when they try- some liberal court will rule “No Standing”- but the left launch charges against the right all the time

Kinda disagree with that.....they had a choice to refuse to compete if they so chose, although they should never have been put in a position to make that decision.....boycotting is what would stop this jackassery in it’s tracks.

Still, the district's actions surprised me.
Bravo! Refuse to compete against trans people with an inherent physical advantage. Don’t play their silly game. And notice it’s always transitioned males who are at issue, never transitioned females.
Thats exactly what they did. And then the school district banned them.
