I’m seeing this in my own medium-sized town - what I’m noticing more and more is people building high fences around their properties, including on the street side - with cameras on the entry gate and neighbors leaving lots of lights on all night - they’re installing large lantern type lights on the sides of their homes in the front, driveway lights that are left on all night and lights around their fences. Our neighborhood used to be very dark, it isn’t now.
My dogs tell me there are people wandering on the streets at all hours of the night.
Yeah we miss having a dog- probably one of the best alarm systems- and yep- I’ve noticed aN increase of folks leaving lights on all night too- not so much fences just yet, but im sure those are coming soon-
