“Should you agree to seek the presidential nomination, the undersigned will consider voting for you .. This letter is not construed as an endorsement.”

To receive an invitation like that -- how can anyone refuse?

He isn’t close to being Libertarian.

He’s certainly no Libertarian. Kennedy was having problems getting on the ballots in all 50 states so running on the Libertarian ticket would solve that. He’s gotten little media attention to date and most of what he has got from the MSM just portrays him as an antivaxxer kook. Unless he can garner attention or get the other candidates to debate him he’s unlikely to get many votes.

News flash - him disliking the COVID vax and forced shots does not make him a libertarian.

Libertarian was always my alternative to having to vote for McCain in AZ I could not stand the guy but I was not about to vote for his Democrat opponent. So, I used the Liberterian line as my trash can to throw away my vote. Kennedy is no libertarian. He is a tried and proven liberal Democrat. As such, I would not even vote for him on the libertarian line

Why doesn’t Trump seek the Libertarian nomination?

Just like how anyone could refuse to captain the Titanic after she hit the iceberg?

Running for the Libertarian nomination is an admission a person has no political future and is a political has been.

Normally I vote libertarian (in California it does not matter) but I will not do so this year if RFK Jr is nominee. He is farther from libertarian principles than Biden!

while RFK has articulated various ideas across the political spectrum, I hardly see him as a Liberatarian Party candidate.

Other than his stance on vaccines and the CIA, there isn’t one dang thing ‘libertarian’ about RFK Jr. On every other policy matter he is much more like his Uncle Ted than he is like his father or Uncle John.
