Time for men to regain the initiative in life by being our true selves again, masculine, strong, gentle when necessary, harsh when necessary, protective and the provider. Women have tried all those things and the results are in: total disaster.

WElcome home guys! My baby boom generation just could possibly leave the scene with the knowledge that there is another greatest generation out there to take up the slack. God bless you all.

Parity between man and women in collegiate matriculation was achieved in the 70's, not the 80's, and not for the first time. That was always a phony feminist issue, but not for several decades did someone notice that differential admissions policies were creating a monster. Now, as the article states, it's 3:2 women/men and the admissions departments are scrambling to catch up. Does anyone think that 3:2 men/women selective admissions policies would be politically acceptable in this identity politics age? Because that's what it would take to achieve parity and it would take four years.

I might also point out that freshman admissions tend to average 18 years of age for both sexes. In other words, those "Frat Boys" are old enough to be service members and some of them are. Those are men. Young men, but men.
