Ireland, Spain and a number of other EU member states are considering 21 May as the date on which they will jointly recognize the State of Palestine

It's rather odd that Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia have no intention of recognizing a Palestinian state. Maybe they know something the clueless Euros don't.
