That is beginning to change, and I expect that the process will gather force over time. American Jews are now confronting four painful and perplexing developments that cannot be denied or glossed over:

(1) the Biden administration's lack of full support for Israel;

(2) the turn of opinion at elite academic institutions against Israel;

(3) the metastasis of DEI advocates and progressives into hostility toward Israel and open, nasty Jew hatred; and

(4) the decay of New York, Chicago, LA, Philadelphia, and other urban centers of Jewish population due to softness on crime, hostility toward police, and other progressive policies.

Similar developments in the 1970s took several years to bear fruit and help spur the election of Ronald Reagan in 1980. I expect that a Trump II administration will do a great deal in the way of productive outreach to American Jews and help pull 15 to 25 per cent toward the GOP by 2028.
