Joe Biden branded 'clueless' over inflation comments as he says 'people have money to spend'

Joe Biden has sparked a wave of backlash over his comments on the rampant inflation affecting millions of Americans, as he oddly stated: "They have the money to spend."

Within the opening three months of 2024, the American economy registered an annual growth rate of just 1.6% - significantly below the growth witnessed in the preceding quarter. Inflation lingers stubbornly above 3%, well exceeding the Federal Reserve's 2% target.

On Wednesday, during his visit to Wisconsin, President Biden made a rare media appearance with CNN where he tried to hold up his administration's approach to counter rising inflation - a move seen as an effort to tackle plummeting approval ratings.

Addressing concerns about skyrocketing grocery costs, Biden rather startlingly stated that US citizens have more disposable income than realised. He attributed this swelling pressure of inflation directly to "corporate greed".

He asserted: "They have the money to spend. It is real, but the fact is that if you take a look at what people have, they have the money to spend."

"It angers them and it angers me that you have to spend more. For example, the whole idea of this notion that you have... shrinkflation... It's like 20 percent less for the same price, that is corporate greed. It is corporate greed and we've got to deal with it."

Scorn descended swiftly onto Biden from all sides post these remarks, as netizens on X began questioning his awareness of the hardships faced by everyday Americans. One X user commented: "Most people don't have the money because they are honest, unlike pathological lying Joe!"

Another added: "He is the most clueless president this country has ever had and that is the way history will remember him".

"The man is out of touch with EVERYTHING," another user chimed in.

Those who give away other people’s money and get huge kick backs to fill their wallets are the ones who have money to spend.

Well, we do have money to spend on foolish things like food, rent, house payments and gas to get to and from work.

Until we don't.

It’s basically “Let them eat cake” but we’re supposed to nod and say “Good point, Joe! Thanks for solving my problem!”

Joe is just repeating the words of others, as his limited intelligence tends to limit his ability to articulate original ideas and beliefs.

Biden is nothing without an echo chamber and 75 LLC's to hide his bribery transactions, which are the thoughts and deeds of others.

Yep. Free enterprise is the problem, not deficit spending. We should have a government regulated economy like China and the old Soviet Union.

I don’t think it’s a matter of that. Obama lied about everything and his minions got into the habit. He was fortunate nothing too catastrophic happened during his terms and, with media cover, he was able to pull it off, e.g., “scandal free administration.” Obama’s minions are wicked and determined, but collectively they’re also not very smart. Rather than giving any acknowledgement of problems, lying about their existence is the only tool they have, and it’s not working

Inflation is WELL above 3%. The fed keeps moving the goal posts in order to have a good looking report.
Printing money causes inflation, NOT corp greed.

JOE HAS DEMENTIA!!!!!!
He has no ability to be President!!!!
The fact there are voters who would vote for him blows my mind!!!!!! They turn the country over to a man with no ability to make decisions!!! Would you leave your child with him? THINK!!

And.. The democrats have NO care for you.. They do not have the capacity to care.. Their whole self is focused on themselves and control over everyone else

Get a clue... Don’t destroy this country!!
NONE..

As plugs and his minions stare at the huge 401k pile of cash of everyday Americans that the government needs to get their hands on.

The man is too stupid to realize that the inflation rate is compounded on to the existing rates of inflation. It’s not like we had 9% inflation and then it magically went away, and the next month goods and services went up 3% inflation. These are not standalone figures.

People do NOT have wealth to spend. NOTHING he has done has created wealth for people, only more financial burden! Folks used to love to go out to eat, but now few can afford to. Folks used to love to leisurely travel around, spend money going places, meeting new people, helping out different town economies, but no more! That is all gone!

WAs looking at some cabin rental prices recently, and I noticed that some places now charge as much for a pet $50-70 per pet ler night, that I used to pay for a day. Gone are the days of staying anywhere for any length of time, and I don’t even have a pet.

IF so eone eats out at fast food now, and are on a tight budget, they have to choose the cheapest items, and do without extras, and wait till home to get something to dr8nk because the price of even a soda now is almost what we used to pay for 24 pack of soda not that long ago-

Joe doesn’t buy things himself, nor does he have to severely budget, so he hasn’t got a clue about the things that ordinary Americans have had to give up because of runaway Inflation.
