Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Wednesday on CNN’s “Inside Politics” that she would recommend against President Joe Biden debating former President Donald Trump.
Political analyst Nia-Malika Henderson said, “Donald Trump is going to throw everything at the wall.”
Host Dana Bash said, “Well, on that note, I want you guys to listen to what Nancy Pelosi told our Manu Raju, after hearing about these debates.”
On Capitol Hill, Pelosi said, “I myself would never recommend going on with stage with Donald Trump, but the president has it is decided that’s what he wants to do. I think format he has suggesting is a good one.”

Maybe that made sense somewhere to someone, but I doubt it.
If polling is accurate than Biden has to do something to turn it around even cheating won’t help him now. Presumably he will get all the questions beforehand but that didn’t really help Clinton when she debated Trump. Donald just had to remain calm and he wins since Biden can’t run on his track record.
I’ll bet she swallowed her... dentures, when she heard about this.
Debating a man who has limited reality, and is basically rude and angry.. With a liberal media and audience likewise.
I would not do it.. If they want this.. There has to be a reason. And they don’t want Trump.
Biden’s plan is probably not to be on the same stage with Trump. Rather, for Biden to be sitting at his desk in the Oval Office while Trump is in a cell (after Judge Mechan denies his request to delay serving his sentence until after the appeals are exhausted).
There are several theories. One being that the dems hope Biden crashes and burns publicly bad enough to remove him from the ticket soon enough to have a replacement. My theory is, his handlers have bought their own hype and believe Biden is actually sharper than Trump and will not listen to anything that contradicts that belief.
I am torn between Trump savaging him on stage with constant attacks and just keeping quiet and letting Biden just babble. Biden likes to argue back. That way he never needs to answer a question. It does get under his skin but I would rather see Biden crash and burn all on his own.

Biden in the Oval Office with his handlers and writers, a 40 second delay edit button, and Trump has to perform in a Manhattan Courtroom, subject to any and all gag orders past and future, for the debate. Any comments violating any gag order will be removed in the 40 second delay button, managed by the FEC Chair, and the panelists of “The View”.
I can almost see that in my mind. Biden drooling as he spouts nonsense while he shuffles around the stage shaking hands with no one. Then add in Benny Hill music and a bunch of guys in white coats and big butterfly nets trying to catch him but struggle because they keep slipping on the drool on the floor.

LS put out an article saying Trump should not do these debates. There is concern Trump has nothing to gain and this is a set up.
This could be a Biden shot across the bow to those democrats that doubt him. Heard it on Mark Davis.
Then there’s the meltdown where Biden is replaced at the convention. If it were to happen Kamala needs to know the rat delegates plan to dig Biden’s grave deep enough for two.
Trump was caught flat footed on this. He wasn’t expecting this. He couldn’t go first since the White House beat him to the punch.
