The House Judiciary Committee passed a resolution on Thursday to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress for failing to disclose audio recordings of President Joe Biden’s interview with special counsel Robert Hur.
The full House must approve the resolution, which is largely symbolic, to officially hold Garland in contempt. Republicans maintain a narrow majority in the House to pass the resolution.
Garland would follow Eric Holder, Obama’s attorney general, and Bill Bar, Trump’s attorney general, to be held in contempt if the House passes the resolution.
Garland defied a final warning in April to comply with a subpoena for the recording of Biden’s interview with Hur despite several warnings and requests for the audio. Republicans demand the audio as a part of their effort to conduct their impeachment inquiry into Biden for his involvement in the Biden business.

Biden/Garland ridiculous claim of “Executive Privilege” is beyond inane.
Everybody knows Garland is a contemptible person. No need for a vote.
I doubt congress will even fight the executive privileged claim. But even if they do then will tied up ages on it.
So what. Are there any real consequences to being held “in contempt of congress?” What will happen to Garland, other than someone wagging their finger at him and saying “You’ve been a bad boy?”
Soon it will be a “missing” video...
As Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon head off to prison. Some animals are more “executive privileged” than others.

It might even go so far as to be harsh.
They have no interest.
The game is acting interested.
Put him in the Capitol jail with the hostages from J6. Prferably in the same cell.
People are serving time in jail for it as we speak.
But that requires the DOJ to follow through on prosecuting the case. Will Garland prosecute himself?

I imagine "elderly" Joe Biden, taking after kinky Merrick Garland, allows Dr. Jill to wear the pants.
