It is well documented in defense attorney Stephen Jones Writ of Mandamus filed March 25, 1996 that Nichols met with Wally Khan and Edwin Angeles of Abu Sayeff while in the PHillipines.

Nichols was also in the Phippines on the same days and same place it is known that Ramsey Yousef was in the Phillipines. Yousef worked for Sadam Hussein to do with first World Trade Center bombing in 1993.
Yousef had also masterminded the idea of using hijacked airliners for terror missions. He was put next to McVeigh in prison and McVeigh defended Yousef in a letter to Rita Cosby of Fox nes (Uncle Bill has link for that letter also).
