Hollywood takes shine to Reich's star power

But La Streisand wasn't the star of this show anyway. The headliner was Robert Reich, and his wattage outshone every celebrity who paid to meet and greet the Massachusetts gubernatorial candidate at a Los Angeles fund-raiser Saturday night.

Actor/director Warren Beatty introduced Reich, then sat down on a folding chair - obvious second billing. Beatty's wife, actress Annette Bening, listened intently to every line Reich delivered. So did Kurtwood Smith, the baddie in ''RoboCop'' and now the father on ''That '70s Show.'' Mike Farrell of ''M*A*S*H'' fame arrived late and stayed late, the better to give Reich a go-get-'em pat on the back.

More proof that liberals are unbelievable stupid people. That's just fine, though. It give the rest of us something to laugh at.

Too bad he isn't running for Gov of California. I guess Massachusetts is a good second for this commie. The title should have been "Hollywood Has-Been's Rally for Diminutive Socialist".

The scary thing is that this garden gnome actually has a real chance at becoming Governor of Massachusetts.

Beatty called him ''one of the largest figures in American progressive politics,'' and likened Reich, 55, to James Madison.

An accurate quote.

James Madison was a midget too!

Beatty . . . likened Reich, 55, to James Madison.

They're both short, that's about it.

Hell-OOOO!! Reich wouldn't recognize the Constitution if it came up and slapped him in the face--well, actually, it would miss his face and slap the air over his head. Limited federal government? More power to the states and the people? That's the opposite of Reich's Big Government ideology.

BTW, Billy Barty's dead, right? Maybe Robert B. Reichhh has a future in Hollywood.

Any state that re-elects "slop jars" like Ted Kennedy time and time again deserves this Clinton Clone as their CEO.

In the 70's there used to be a series of tv specials called "Circus of the Stars," which featured actors doing circus acts. One actor called it the "Circus of the Out of Work Actors," because the only "Stars" who would go on the show were people who hadn't had a job in years.

Maybe we can offer them a few celebrity game shows, and break up the Hollywood/Washington axis of evil.

She doesn't have a chance. Face it, the public WANTS more Gov't spending, and they'll vore for the politicians who'll give it to them.

I have heard that he thought this was to be attended in a costume and he went as a shrimp.

He could have slipped a condom over his head and went as a (fill in the blank).
