Great presentation of the colors followed by the singing of the national anthem by an officer of the USS Ronald Reagan.
Congressional Chaplin Coughlin gave the benediction.

Is he there?

This was a big trip for Nancy. She didn't appear to be too steady. I hope it isn't too much of a strain for her.
Still puts that hand over her heart during the Anthem doesn't she.
To: Bikers4Bush
No. A very frail-looking Nancy will accept the award for both of them.

I appreciate Senator Lott reminding me about the year they held the Inauguration in the Capitol, because it was so sold. I had forgotten about that.
To: DoughtyOne
I've always loved Nancy. Trent Lott speaking now. Recalling Reagan's second inauguration in the Capitol rotunda where this ceremony is being held.
Lott compares Ron & Nancy to Fred & Ginger....

Take a page from "Dallas." It was all just a bad dream! :-)

Armey recounting the 70's. Hahahaha! Take that, Jimmy!

LOL! How could Dick Armey retire? He is bringing tears to my eyes with his palpable love of RR. Speaking of "faith, courage and love."

Now that's one that you and I definately agree on. LOL. Carter is one of the longest national disgraces on record. Someone like Clinton is the only person that could unseat him from being the worst thing that ever happened to this nation.

Armey is apparently speaking without notes, from the heart. Says many young congressman regret never having met RR, says: but you have met him...you are living in his world.
Great stuff.
Jane, Ted Stevens says he is glad to see the members of the SCOTUS in attendence...hmm.

I meant I would miss Dick Armey. I got a phone call and it delayed my post.
Ted Stevens is talking about how the Reagans brought sunshine to the White House. (Hint to the clueless: the Carters were also DEPRESSING.)
To: Miss Marple
Is President Bush going to speak?
