May 19, 2002 -- JERUSALEM - Sick and tired of playing host to a group of alleged Palestinian terrorists who had been holed up in the Church of the Nativity, Cyprus has told the European Union to take the 13 men off their hands by Tuesday. The EU had promised to take the exiled Palestinian militants from Cyprus by last Monday and relocate them in Europe.

Israel should have stormed the church and killed them immediately.
I suspect something like this could happen. Or, perhaps each of the "freedom fighters" may suddenly disappear from their host locations. Maybe get hit by a "careless" driver. The possibilities are endless.
Amazing, isn't it? It's the old story about picking up a poisonous snake, knowing full well it's the snake's nature to bite you. At least nine of the countries show enough sense left not to accept them.
I'll bet, though, that no one holds the six willing counties in more contempt than the terrorists themselves.
The Cypriots have already taken sides, they sided with the Palis, because "they are refugees just like them". They decided that without really looking into the matter deeply, just on the surface facts. Don't expect anything from them.
Terrorists only respect power.
The irony of terrorists being kept in a posh waterfront hotel is not lost on them in the least.
They smell fear in the EuroTrash, and the EuroTrash will pay dearly for that vulnerability.
I have nothing but contempt for the willing nations.
Italy? Incredibly stupid move from a nation that should know better.
True, but they're undoubtedly being nudged hard by Romano Prodi, former Prime Minister of Italy and now President of the European Commission. Prodi is certainly ambitious.
...EU, which is keen to boost its role on the international stage, especially in the Middle East.
How coddling muslim terrorists could work to European advantage is beyond all logic and experience.
I'll bet that these 'fine folks' will all be dead within a year.
