At a dinner last year at the Russian Embassy, a senior Russian official expressed deep dismay that the Bush administration was preparing to eliminate large numbers of nuclear missiles without any coordination with Russia. I was astonished. "Mr. Minister," I said, "I never thought I would live to see the day when a representative of Moscow would complain that Washington is reducing its nuclear arsenal."

President Bush refuses to live in the old boxes created during the cold war and by the left wingers in America and in the world. We are truly living in exciting times and moving away from about 50 years of the terrible stalemate between the two super powers of that time. If GW can bring the Russians along and into this century tradewise and conceptwise, what a gift to humanity for all that will be.

The status quo liberals, the Opecker Princes, the NKs, Cuba and the ChiComs will not like where we are going, but they will have no real choices except to join or see their nations implode under the weight of the last communism and Islamic thuggery.

I really think that the US and Russia have found common ground on the issue of Islamic terror. If Mathias Rust could fly a light plane into Red Square, even in the bad old commie days, Putin has to realize that nowhere in Russia is safe from suicide bombers like the ones that hit us.

We have a lot of common ground. However Putin has to quit sleeping with the Iranians and the Iraquis because of their business deals. These two countries are financing a large part of the Islamic terrorism that results in the violent deaths of innocent Russians.

If Russia joined us in a quick and massive strike against the Mullah thug leadership and war toys of Iran, a clear and loud message would go to the rest of the Islamic thug world. Their days of financing Islamic terrorism without paying a horrorific penalty are long gone.

This is the next step for Russia to move against their former and current client Islamic countries who finance terrorism in Russia and the rest of the world.

Russia is simply playing both sides, waiting to see who wins out. In one corner is the US, and the other China and its minions of troublemaking mercenaries who do its dirty work(destabilization) at arms-length.

I really don't think that the Russians want to even think about China being the winner over the US.

And foreign policy humiliation can only be compounded by the humiliations of 'Natasha capitalism'. Russia has gone from a global superpower to seriously challenging the Philippines as prime supplier of young female flesh. One can only imagine the levels of personal desparation and humiliation that pervade Russian society.

Well there's the problem: Iraq doesn't really sponser said terrorist groups...just contributes to instability in general. Iran, on the other hand doesn't sponsor terrorist groups aiming at Russia...just ones aiming at America. America for its part, sponsors Kuwait and Saudi and Egypt who do not sponsor terrorist groups that aim at Americans but ones that aim at Russians. The only solution to the ME is for all major powers involved to pull out all support for all the arabs and then work out a policy. See my point?
