Arafat Threatens "Disasterous Explosion"

In a speech broadcast today, Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat threatened that if Israel does not retreat from PA-ruled areas that there will be a "disastrous explosion that will impact stability of the whole world."

According to the Palestinian Authority's official news agency WAFA, in an address broadcast in Spain to an awards ceremony honoring EU Middle East envoy Miguel Moratinos, Arafat claimed that "the situation in Palestine is at the edge of explosion."

Arafat warned that if Israel does not withdraw from Palestinian held territory immediately, "enabling our people to practice their legitimate rights of establishing the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, the whole region will witness a disastrous explosion that will impact not only the region but the stability of the whole world."

Timm for Israel to take this seriously and stop it in it's tracks. Pull out and then lock it down, NO ONE comes in or out, until Arafat is either overthrown or leaves the country. AND I MEAN LOCK IT DOWN!! Close ALL borders, use infra red on helicopters, troops, tanks, whatever it takes. LOCK THEM DOWN!!! And then when Arafat is overthrown, then talk to the Palestinians about peace.

Period, this man is a terrorist and should be treated as such. He is the head of this snake, it is time for it to be cut off.

B.S. Under Yasser, Palestinians HAVE no rights. Also, SOME of us still remember the disastrous experiment in co-governance of Jerusalem. Yasser caused that. HALF of Jerusalem wasn't enough for the greedy mad dictator....he had to have it ALL. I guess since Yasser is getting senile, he figures the rest of us are too.

Yasser threatens disastrous explosions almost every year, whenever his own people grow a temporary set of cajones and say they don't like him anymore. He knows he's an anachronism and that he isn't equipped to give his people the freedom of self determination they need.

Yes, homocide bombings and the murder of children in their beds will probably increase in response to Yasser's threats. They always do.
