I wonder if the fine folks in SD realize that their buddy Daschle is largely responsible for the forest conditions that fuel these fires? Without even looking it up, I'm sure Daschle supported Clinton in his crazy environmental policy of "protecting" the forests. By not allowing the cleaning out of debris, or tree thinning, these fires have been just waiting to happen.
