It goes on burning, and if electrical storms come through (with no rain) they will have more problems.
The blaze has consumed seven houses and another 15 outbuildings

Too bad it's in the northern Hills....are the daily thunderstorms there dry this year? That's the one thing I miss about home - lightning.

The Sturgis motorcycle rally is coming up soon... never having been there I ask a stupid question. Is Sturgis in a clear area or is it also in potential danger from forest fire?

just got back from out there, very ugly, unbelievable how _CLOSE_ it came to Lead and Deadwood. All of those responsible deserve mucho credit and praise for their efforts.
