Agent Allegedly Asks Woman To Hold Up Vibrator

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- A lawsuit filed in Clearwater seeks unspecified damages of more than $15,000 from Delta Airlines for asking a woman returning from a Las Vegas vacation to hold up a vibrator that she had in her travel bag.

The suit accuses Delta of negligence, gender discrimination and the intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The plaintiff, Renee Koutsouradis, said that the agent took her to the bag on the tarmac and forced her to open it 'and remove the adult toy and hold it up for visible view.''

She claims three men employed by Delta "began laughing hysterically'' and offered "obnoxious and sexually harrasing comments.''

Michael Boyd, an airline planning and security consultant from Colorado, said embarrassing incidents have become more common with increased security by all airlines since Sept. 11.

He said his guideline would be to leave anything embarrassing at home, just in case.

Is this any relation to that gal who is suing over the internet date?

Could it be?

Would this be the same sort of thing that is sold in the junk-type catalogs (Lillian Carter, etc) as a "battery-operated massager", and the picture shows a person using the "massager" across the upper shoulders?

What's she so embarrassed about?

I'm siding with the agent on this one. Damned if I'd be pulling the thing out of the bag myself.

Was it an anatomically correct male RealDoll?? No wonder she died of embarrassment at the airport.

Should she be more embarassed over three airport employees seeing her "toy", or millions now reading that she owns one?

So this incident was so embarassing that she sought to expand the circle who saw her embarassment from a hundred or so, to the hundreds of thousands, reading about her suit.

uh huh

It sounds like they weren't sure what this device was.
If they were suspicious of the device, I'm glad they checked it out. I think I would have laughed too after realizing what it was.

This woman is subjecting herself to ridicule by filing this lawsuit.

It always amuses me that since the publication of this proposed suit, a few million people know what she had in her suitcase...apparently THATdoesn't bother her!

Geez!!

What some folks will do for money!

Sac

P.S. Nobody gives a darn what you have in your suitcase unless it is potentially harmful to US!

Do you remember the scene from Police Squad where Detective Drubin went into the "Adult" sex shop and pretended to be shocked and surprised that such a store existed, only to have a store employee welcome him back by name and tell him that his special order inflatable doll was in......
Bwahahahahhahaha......
Gosh, I hate that when that happens....

Which begs the question. Why did she need a plastic man on her trip? Its not like she couldn't meet a live one at her destination...

If she's that difficult a person, it's no wonder she has to have an artificial substitute for the real thing. No real guy would have her.

It's pretty funny, but really, it was inappropriate for the airline employees to laugh and make comments.

That's what you do after the person leaves! "Hey, did you see that big purple vibrator!" :D

I wonder if she has to wait to use it until the pilot let's people know that it's okay to use electronic devices on board.
