Just heard on NPR -- two Liberals discussing the possibility that the crash of Wellstone's plane was caused by political enemies; i.e. Evil Republicans/Conservatives.
What truly excreble people.

More like the Clintons had him killed, they used this tactic 6 times already. It's in the Clinton bodycount.
To: pabianice
his enemies weren't republicans, they were political foes.....

Did they give any kind of theory or plausible reason ?? Why would "evil" Republicans do this...from what I have heard Coleman (???) was doing well against Wellstone, and after seeing what happened in Missouri 2 years ago they last thing the Republicans would want is a repeat of the Carnahan situation.

Was Buddy Holly murdered? Was Otis Redding murdered?
Really, those people are only good at grasping at straws.

If and only if it was sabotage, it was most likely done by the enemies of the USA, attempting to create internal conflicts thereby distracting us from geopolitical movements. Of late, there have been attempts by both the Islamists and PRAVDA to stir up anger within the militia community. At the same time, via Black Muslims, infiltrators into campus radical groups and, a very willing, thoroughly duped intelligencia, the Left are becoming more noisy. The stage is being set for social unrest. Then, when we are in the midst of infighting, who knows what will happen terrorism wise or geopolitically!

What an ignorant comment by these liberals. We all know what happened in Mo. with Carnahan. The same thing will probably happen now (sympathy vote).
IMHO, murder has always been a Democrat trait (i.e. Bill Clinton and the huge list of dead people), not Republican.

If true, then these bozos have put the idea in play. That makes it fair game for certain skillful opinion leaders on the right to have an absolute field day.
I find it hard to believe. But not impossible.

Exactly! Maybe the Democrats had him murdered in a desperate attempt to contol those upcoming Supreme Court nominations.

Give me a break! I am hearing this cr*p all over the place. Wellstone's death just handed his seat to another Democrat, based on the sure to come sympathy vote for the replacement candidate. Why would "pubbies" knock off Wellstone, when there was a DISTINCT possibility that Coleman was going to beat Wellstone? Frankly, if you're going to wear the tinfoil, the DEMOCRATS would have more to gain by 'bumping' Senator Wellstone. Whoever was debating this at NPR is completely off their d*mn rocker! (First Torricelli, now Wellstone...TWO states where Republicans stood a chance to pick up seats...)

Details please. Was it a national show or just some local dimwit? Heard on WBUR - Boston. Think it was the national science show NPR does on Friday.

OK! OK! OK!

It's much more likely that the Democrat mob headed by the
Clintons is responsible for the crash since Wellstone's seat was not secure. Now whoever they choose to replace him will win the sympathy vote, as in Jean Carnahan of
Missouri. There are certain members of the socialist left that would do ANYTHING to hang on to control of the Senate.

Who was the jerk who decided to fly in that crappy weather?
Why not drive and start on the trip a little earlier?
