How many anti-war protestors ACTUALLY showed up at the Washington, D.C. rally yesterday? I watched some of it yesterday on C-SPAN and from the shots of the crowds it didn't look too thick. Unfortunately I saw no aerial shots of this event. The protestors are claiming over 200,000 and the newspapers are saying only "Tens" of thousands. The pictures I have seen of this event show low densities of people. When you look at the pics, the protestors have ample space between them which indicates a small crowd. I am guessing that there were only between 10,000 and 20,000 protestors at this event. During one of the speeches, the speaker said that only about half the buses had shown up and that "hundreds of thousands more" were expected at the rally at any time. This seemed to me like a subtle excuse to the crowd as to why their numbers were so low.
Here is one of the photos of this rally. If you have more pics of the rally which might give an indication of its TRUE size, go ahead and post them. It would help to determine the real size of this anti-war (actually anti-USA) rally.

Post your own pics of this anti-war rally indicating crowd size but best of all would be long shots and/or aerial photos.

I was suspicious when see b-s radio said '10s of 1000s' were protesting. So, like 20k? If there were 200k or 500k or 1million it would have been HIGHLY touted by the media. When see b-s says 10s of 1000s I take it that turnout was skimpy. :)

"HUDREDS OF THOUSANDS" of protestors? Take a look at the background in this photo of yesterday's demonstration. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

That picture you posted only shows a couple hundred. Any others?

Look at the photo in my Reply #4. I am looking for more such photos. What I would REALLY want to see is an AERIAL photo of this demonstration. Right now I am guessing LESS than 20,000 people showed up.

SF Ariel Shots of Protest SF must have been the largest in the nation...not surprising seeing as how many radical leftists live here.

I have searched for an Aerial of DC...somthing tells me that no media choppers were allowed up or somthing...Indy Media would have had it up by now.

Here is a pic of a demonstrator on the National Mall yesterday. So where are those "hundreds of thousands" that they were boasting about? Looks mighty sparse there. Almost like a prairie.

Lots of breathing room for a crowd that the anti-war folks claim is in the "hundreds" of thousands:

Shame on you! Brit Hume said today that it is politically incorrect to estimate the size of the crowd.

I have searched for an Aerial of DC...somthing tells me that no media choppers were allowed up or somthing...Indy Media would have had it up by now. I don't believe there were any aerial photos published of the "Million Mom March" for the same reason. Believe me, if the MMM filled the Washington Mall we would have seen lots of aerial photos of that event. BTW, I did see a police (or some other) chopper hovering in the air over yesterday's event. I'm sure they were taking photos which were probably available to the news media if they wanted them.

I wish Brit Hume would show us an aerial photo of this event. I need some laughs.
