ITHACA -- Around 200 people gathered at the Pyramid Mall Saturday to protest a possible U.S. war with Iraq.
This was the second time since December that a crowd, most dressed in black and many carrying antiwar signs and flyers, gathered at the shopping center on a busy Saturday morning.

Dang. Had I known, I would have joined them with a pro-war sign.
Being open-minded and pro-diversity, they'd surely welcome me with open arms.
(Oops, maybe "arms" is not a good word to use with them.)

These protestors ought to be remembered for all eternity for their racism, hatred, and lack of faith in the Iraqi people.
Also they should be condemned for what they are allowing Saddam to do to Iraqi children and ethnic and religious minorities.
Iraq historically has filled its frontline infantry units with Shiites (technically not a minority but still oppressed) -- We must demand an equitable draft in Iraq so that the children of the best and brightest will also bear the costs of war! Then maybe the Iraqi hawks will not be so eager to start wars over oil!

"There's something very powerful about putting a sign on your body and going to a public place, saying 'This is where I stand, and what I stand for," said protester Anke Wessels, who is the director of Cornell University's Center for Religion, Ethics and Social Policy. Any relation to Horst of that ilk?

Right. Shut down the Pyramid Mall = shut down the fascist war machine. Or something.

Why wasn't the junior senator from NY there? She got a lot of votes from the leftists at Ithaca. Seems a shame if she didn't support her supporters.
