0400 here and rain has stopped, finally, after two days. Most of crew asleep except for self, Thud, and muttering Pippin, who has worked the Middle Watch.

Again, many thanks to the many FReepers who helped me get through yesterday.

Today we will dock off Ensenada. We will be here until Sunday morning. It is Madi Gras (Scroll Down). Crew is granted shore leave until 2200 Saturday. Meek, humblegunner, and lodwick are expected to have a good time, but are assingned SP duty to watch after certain crew.

The locals may not appreciate LadyX and Billie doing their infamous fan dance. Especially watch that daisyscarlett avoids the tequila cocktails. She collects those cute little paper unbrellas and feels the need to empty the glasses to get them.

Ship's physician WVNan has her 2x4 and prayer book ready for attitude adjustments and the brig is clean and awaits occupants.

Glad to hear of the shore leave, Captain, before heading out to sea for any period of time. This new bunch of psychoceramics is surely a spirited group!

Thankful we be for the addition of the all-important chaplain-physician with the necessary skills to deal with 'em. Nan can do it all, I assure you. Even Thud avoids is awed by her.

Billie and I appreciate the opportunity to employ our dancing skills ashore.
Fond were those days in 1999-2000 when we held sway on the original Freeper Island Escapes, conducting hula lessons at the Friday luaus on Invictus's Paradise, that knew no war, back in the trying Whitewater Days.

Old-timers (Scuttlebutt, beowolf) will remember the day CHIEFnegotiator had mowed our grass skirts down to 4" lengths! LOL
Thank heaven we had time to cut more grass.
The fans are a bit more graceful and ladylike - well - kinda.

Humblegunner and Eaker will supplement the Shore Patrol, in view of some of the newer rowdy ones and the unknowns.

(Guys - watch the dutchess - never know if she has that old penchant to pick pockets these days, using the Gizzmutt to distract the crowds.)
