"They refer to the baby parts as tissue." This reminds me of a time a nurse working a floor that aborts late-term babies rushed into the NICU with a covered blue pan, and said, "I have a specimen that's gasping!"
Those of us who were working in the NICU did NOT comprehend her words until she lifted the towel to reveal a tiny infant.
A "SPECIMEN"? I guess that's one way to ease a guilty conscience.
I am assuming that baby died? How horrible for it to survive even a few minutes after being ripped out of its sanctuary and being ripped into. Poor poor child... I can't even imagine your reaction, having to see that.
