PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (July 4) - President John Hancock: “The Continental Congress is recalled from its 227-years recess for this ‘Extraordinary Session.’ America’s existence is threatened, as it was in 1776, with an emerging menace. Today’s foe is the ‘New World Order.’”
The Chair recognized the Hon. Thomas Jefferson, a delegate from Virginia. He began, “Our country was established as a Constitutional Republic and modeled after ancient Rome’s. Instead, it has become an Empire--a policeman, a hired gun for the globalist schemers. We are being used by them for their selfish purposes.
“Meanwhile, the desperate social needs of our own people aren’t being met. The ‘Free Trade’ policies of the ‘New World Order’ have depleted our manufacturing base and lowered our standard of living. The Constitution was created to promote the ‘General Welfare,’ ‘Insure Domestic Tranquility,’ and ‘Establish Justice.’ These objectives are being ignored.”
Del. Ben Franklin of Pennsylvania spoke up next, “I see that there are grasping, powerful elements, like ‘Big Oil,’ ‘The Military-Industrial Complex,’ and the ‘Zionist Cartel,’ who are acting contrary to the interest of the Republic. I don’t think we should be presently occupying Afghanistan, the rich oil fields of Iraq, or subsiding the Israeli occupation of Palestine. We are continuing to make more enemies in the Islamic World. The special interests are using their considerable resources to manipulate us.
“We sought to create a Republic where no clique could ever be above the people. Any intriguer that dares to place its interests above the Republic must be considered an enemy of the people, and be treated as such. Today, money is the weapon of choice. Electoral politics is controlled by money, vast amounts of it, and unless it is eliminated from the process, the intriguers will prevail and our Republic will die.”
The Chair then acknowledged Del. Charles Carroll of Maryland. “Our ties have been to Europe. Now, a cabal of Neocons led by the odious Richard Perle, want us to turn our back on France and Germany, and link us to that repulsive Ariel Sharon. I must remind this Congress that during our Revolutionary War, it was France who stood by our side. It was the French fleet, under Admiral de Grasse, that blockaded the Chesapeake Bay and aided our great victory at Yorktown. France’s Marquis de Lafayette and Germany’s Baron von Steuben fought with our gallant army. Many patriots, too, with German roots, such as Col. John Henry Antes of the Second Battalion of Pennsylvania's Northumberland Militia, deserve wide praise. Finally, the Neocons must be resisted.”
“Where are those Weapons of Mass Destruction?” Del. Jefferson demanded to know. “The Bush-Cheney Administration told the country, based on ‘cooked’ intelligence, that Iraq had WMD, was harboring terrorists, and that a preemptive U.S. strike was absolutely necessary. It is time now for the slippery Paul Wolfowitz, Donald Rumsfeld, Rep. Tom Lantos and Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman, and the other War Hawks, to come clean.
“It is also clear that the Establishment-controlled media needs a good dose of democracy. A free press is indispensable to a Republic. The USA Patriot Act and the Homeland Security Law, also, must be repealed. They pose a direct threat to our Constitution and Bill of Rights.”
“Who are the corporations making huge profits in Iraq and Afghanistan?” Delegate Franklin wondered. “I hear it’s because they are close to Bush and Cheney. The names of those corporations, and the facts about the no-bid-oil-related contracts and sweetheart Pentagon-based arms deals, should be made public. And, any and all conflicts of interests that elected or appointed federal officials may have with these parties, must be fully exposed, and if appropriate, turned over to a Special Prosecutor.”
Del. Jefferson chimed in next. “It bothers me that the deranged Sharon continues to target civilians for assassination in occupied Palestine. Sharon then has the gall to blame the Palestinian Authority for the problem--the same entity that he had worked to ruthlessly destroy. The primary source of the violence there is the unlawful Israeli occupation.
“When President George Washington warned in his 1796 ‘Farewell Address’ about our country’s forming ‘passionate attachments’ with foreign entities, he had exactly this type of dysfunctional ‘permanent alliance’ in mind: the one we now have with Zionist Israel.”
Del. John Adams of Massachusetts rose to speak. With his voice rising in righteous anger, he said, “Almost all of our states are presently experiencing a devastating fiscal crisis, some are near bankruptcy. A Republic’s first allegiance is to its own people, the source of our power, and not to these alien-based wire pullers.
“I suggest that everyone at this proceeding read Dr. John Coleman’s tome, ‘Conspirators’ Hierarchy: The Story of the Committee of 300.’ It doesn’t have all the answers about how we got into this mess, but, it is a very good place to start. In addition, Professor Kevin MacDonald’s excellent book, ‘Critique of Culture,’ is a true eye-opener. In particular, he exposes the transformation of the shadowy Neocon Movement from its origins on the extreme Left to the predatory Right,” Adams concluded.
Franklin spoke again. “Mr. Chairman,” he underscored, “I feel that our national situation is perilous, more so then when we first took on the imperialistic King George III. At least, then, the people were awake to the danger. Today, they are mostly asleep! I move, by acclamation, that this body take such action as it deems necessary to defend, at whatever cost, our valued Republic, and, to immediately alert the populace to the deadly risks that we presently face. All in favor signify by saying ‘Aye.’”
President Hancock: “The ‘Ayes’ have it, the Motion is unanimously passed on this the 227th anniversary of our National Holiday. America is resolved to restore the Republic and crush the New World Order.
This Congress is hereby adjourned ‘Sine Die.’”
