I wonder if they are using some ridiculously broad definition of rape, like "have you ever felt emotionally pressured to have sex?" I doubt it's that broad, but this is always something worth keeping in mind when feminists release another rape study.

When I attended Utah State University, a bunch of feminist whiners were trying to tell us that 1 in 6 girls on campus were raped
every year. A few of us pointed out that it takes the average student 6 years to get a college degree at that school. Therefore, a girl is virtually guaranteed to be raped if she attends USU.
We pointed out that the university president is going to be real happy when we call his office and tell him that they are spreading that "statistic" around. (Sure enough, they got their asses handed to them by the university when the front office found out!) The university is always bragging about the low crime rate since they're trying to attract people to the school, not drive them away.
