The father of the dead child is a Long Islan Railroad
CONDUCTOR ! You say that he has money and that the mother didn't ? Nowhere in the article is it even implied that the murderess of her own daughter was without funds. She, after all, took off, vanished, left, ran away. She had some funds. OTOH, have you even the slightest glimmer of an idea how much a LIRR conductor makes ?
"Personal experience " ? Oh, so you're an unwed mother, who has drowned her small child, are you ?
Though you are welcome to your own opions, basing your opinions on your own bias and NO facts, is hardly a good thing to do.

I know Brian.
He is not rich. He has tried from when Gina was born to be reasonable with the mother.
He paid child support and tried to get the mother to allow him visitation rights. When she would not, he had every right to go to court.
When he found out she was becoming more and more mentally unstable, he went to Child Protective Services.
Brian did the right thing. He just wishes he had not returned the baby to the mother the last time she let him see her.
Gina is the victim here, along with Brian. The mother is despicable. I'm glad no murder trial will be necessary.

My God.
Tonight, I am going to give my 20 month old son an extra hug. I can't wait to hear him scream "Papa" when I put my key in the front door.

...the bias in NOT inate. It is overt. Equality and respect for fathers rights are mere lip service. Fathers have to go prove their cases beyond a reasonable doubt NOT by a preponderance of the evidence. As a lawyer who has handled a few divorces, I can honestly say that you are correct.
The ONLY way a divorce works out for the best for all parties is if BOTH spouses are willing to be reasonable AND BOTH attorneys are willing to be reasonable. If any one of the four involved plays hardball, all parties lose (especially the children).

marijuana use and depression/other psychological illnesses (some say the drug should be legal!)It appears that some mentally ill people try to self-medicate with marijuana. But the same is true for alcohol, yet nobody suggests that this is a good reason to ban alcohol.

How can you clear the name of someone who murders her two year old angel?
Oh, by blaming a man for it.

She murdered her own child? How can you, in any way, shape or form, defend that? We are all responsible for our own actions.
There is only one person at fault here, and that is the person who murdered the little girl. I'm sorry she was your friend, but your friend is a murderer.
