BUT - Gallup doesn't ask if you would vote for an "Unnamed opponent" They ask "An unnamed DEMOCRAT" and that makes a HUGE difference, and that is why Gallup is the best polling firm in the world unlike the (Completely corrupt) Zogby.

Tonight on Hardball,Howard Fineman was at a loss to explain Bush's jump in approval,so he danced around and said that perhaps last week's Newsweek poll, was "over interpreted ". So, the new standard for Liberal Poll Reading-a crummy poll is absolute,unless and until the next poll shows improvement,at which time the former poll will be labeled as crap, to invalidate the jump in ratings.
