Father, we come to You in prayer today for the soul of our country. Let those who would use violence to turn away the honest government of this Republic be rebuked and come to grief.
We lift up Rep Scalise to you and pray earnestly for his recovery. Keep his family in Your loving arms and comfort them.
We thank you for the courage and brave response of the two Capitol Police heroes who defended those there, and who suffered injuries themselves. May they be healed completely. May the other people who were injured be healed.
We pray that the evil and hate that lays behind these despicable acts will be thoroughly exposed.

LORD, we pray for Divine intervention on behalf of our nation, our President and his Administration, and Rep Scalise. Lift up the righteous and cut off the wicked, because Your Word tells us that Righteousness exalts a nation, and we have so failed you. We confess our sin, revive your people and heal our land. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Father God, we lift up the Scalise family and the other families impacted by the hate and violence this week. We ask for continued healing.
Heavenly Father, we grieve that journalism has become a powerful weapon to advance Satan's agenda, teaching hate and ignorance. We grieve that so many people lack discernment, and are utterly deceived, not knowing the difference between right and wrong. We lift up the lost ones and the ones who are leading them to destruction, Lord, may they be repulsed by the anger and violence in their hearts and repent, lest they should perish.

I’m joining everyone in your fervent and heartfelt prayers for the well-being of our nation and our public servants who were injured in the baseball field attack. Please bring peace to our nation and bind the hands of those who hold a stranglehold of power in the media who have made a corporate decision, along with power brokers supporting the dark global government, to negate the will expressed by the American electorate in November 2016. They’re trying to steal my vote with lies and hatred. Stop them, Lord, and may your will be done in our nation. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
