I understand your position, I went agnostic in my teens then looked in the evangelical ideas, then looked more deeply into the Bible and corroborated it with 1st century religious and secular history and realized that the Catholic Church (along with the Orthodox, Oriental and Assyrian) truly is the bride of Christ.
