I actually saw him perform at a tiny Jazz Club in Boston back in the early 70's. Blues had fallen from favor back then, but I still loved the genre and caught the shows of all the elderly Blues Men who were still out there performing.
Excellent article about Superheroes and the connection to Greek Myth. Hollywood has been a huge collaborator in conditioning the People to accept a "superhero" known as the Antichrist". And, half the time it's all CGI, and not even real "acting".

Jimmy Reed played at our high school Canteen. I also got to see others at various small venues in and around LA: John Lee Hooker, Bo Diddley, Big Joe Turner, Tina Turner. Enjoyed them all!
