Conspiracy
Isaiah 8 12-14a
“Do not call conspiracy everything these people call conspiracy; Do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it.
The Lord Almighty is
the one you are to regard as holy
he is the one you are to fear,
and he is the one you are to dread,
and he will be your sanctuary
Conspiracy, seems to be everywhere and throughout the ages; from Satan in the garden, Haman in the book of Ester, the Jewish leaders against Jesus, and now. We hear of “Fake News” and whether your views are on the right or left, political sides, national sides and international sides accuse each other of conspiracy- which evokes confusion, fear, and dread.
Isaiah’s message from the Lord addresses conspiracy and cautions us “don’t fear what they fear, and don’t dread it”. The “fear” here is used by way of a reaction, more like a ripple effect and not the primary cause. It’s like being afraid because others are afraid, not because of something witnessed first-hand.
In contrast to fearing conspiracy, we are admonished in three ways.
1). To “regard the Lord Almighty as holy”. Set the Lord apart in our esteem, Hallow the Lord, give Him place in our hearts and lives as pre imminent, all powerful, all knowing, eternal, remember to revere Him as God.
2). “He is the one you are to fear.” This fear is not a second-hand fear as before noted. This is fear, or terror, from seeing a fearful thing or act- in the present tense.
3). “He is the one you are to dread.” Dread in this sense means awe.
Regard, fear, and dread. Any other god (false god) would make us cringe, hide, or run. But our God is esteemed, powerful, and awesome. The Bible’s conclusion for us is: The Lord God is our sanctuary, a holy abode, like a palace-where we are welcomed. It is consecrated, set apart, safe. In the midst of conspiracy, fear and dread, we are to remember God is our sanctuary. Let him be your strong high tower, for he is not only a place of peace and rest, He is our peace and rest.”

Dear Lord, we beseech Thee to purge the monstrous Satanic evil that has seized control of our institutions and government ! Bring these evil individuals to justice ! Strike down these wicked individuals and institutions that blatantly and audaciously lie to the public about their true (evil) intentions while painting good people as the real enemy !
Do not let these servants of darkness prevail over Your children ! Send forth Your angels to liberate us, oh, Lord ! Hear our cries and help us, please, dear Lord !
